Fayez Quereshy

Biography

The Division of General Surgery at the University Health Network, is pleased to announce the recruitment of Dr. Fayez Quereshy, a graduate of the University of Toronto Medical School and General Surgery Training Program. During his General Surgery training Dr. Quereshy entered the Surgeon Scientist Program and he was awarded a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. He then became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. Fayez subsequently completed Fellowship training in Surgical Oncology at the University of Toronto and Robotic Surgery Training in Hong Kong. His clinical practice is centred on minimally invasive and colorectal surgical oncology. Fayez’s research will focus on Hospital Administration and specifically Operations Management and Process-level Evaluation and Optimization and Outcomes.
