Biography
Dr Oreopoulos is an assistant professor in the Departments of Surgery and Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto and divides his time between the Divisions of Vascular Surgery and Vascular Interventional Radiology at the University Health Network and Mount Sinai Hospital (JDMI). He completed his residency in General Surgery at the University of Toronto and is a graduate of the Surgeon Scientist Program. In 2004, he completed his residency in Vascular Surgery. He is a graduate of the Educational Scholar’s Program at the Centre for Faculty Development. In 2011, he completed a fellowship in interventional radiology at the University of Toronto. He has been on staff as a vascular and endovascular surgeon at the University Health Network since 2006 and previously worked on staff at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto. Since 2011, he has also worked in Interventional Radiology performing both vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures.
Research Interest
Endovascular therapies (basic and advanced) for aortic and peripheral vascular disease, Carotid Disease, Dialysis Access Surgery, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Interventional Radiology (cross-appointed to VIR division at UHN/MSH).
