Biography
Dr. Adler Nevo completed her training in child and adolescent psychiatry in Israel and continued to pursue her interest in paediatric anxiety as a fellow at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto. She currently leads the child and adolescent anxiety program at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Toronto East General Hospital. Research Interest
Within the broad category of psychosocial interventions for anxious youth, Dr. Adler Nevo's current research interests include: 1. The Long Term Follow Up of anxious children treated with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), other psychotherapy modalities and untreated anxious children. 2. The development and study of a treatment program for peer victimized (bullied) youth. 3. The study of effective treatment elements in diverse treatment modalities as they relate to anxious children and youth. 4. The study and implementation of computer and web-based technology in the treatment of anxious children and youth.
