Biography
Dr. Randall has dual accreditation in anesthesiology and critical care medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Additional training includes a clinical fellowship at Toronto General Hospital in cardiovascular anesthesiology and perioperative transesophageal echocardiography. He is currently completing a Master’s in Public Health (epidemiology) at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health (University of Toronto). Work related to graduate studies has included an internship with Public Health Ontario (Emergency Preparedness and Incident Response group) and ongoing work involving outcomes research after cardiac or vascular surgery. He has extensive experience providing anesthesia care in low-resource environments, most recently (2014) with Medecins Sans Frontieres in Bangui, Central African Republic.
