Biography
In 2005 he received the Canadian Society for the Study of Education Mentorship Award. Three of his books won the American Educational Studies Association Critic Award (1997, 2001, 2008), and another of his books won the Canadian Association for the Foundations of Education Book Award. (1998) Noted Scholar, Faculty of Education, University of British Columbia (1998) Invited Lansdowne Visiting Scholar at the University of Victoria in February 2012.
