Biography
Jonathan is a designer whose current work investigates how design systems (digital and otherwise) can be used to understand, manipulate and intelligently introduce foreign elements into design geometry, be these found objects, economic/manufacturing pro formas, or formal types. Jonathan holds degrees in architecture from Princeton University (MArch'10) and the University of Waterloo (HBAS'07). He has worked as an architectural designer for companies in London and Switzerland and on a number of significant projects the most recent being facades for Atelier Jean Nouvel and Bjarke Ingels while at Front Inc. in New York. Recent work has been exhibited at MIT by Archiprix and the Beijing Architectural Bienniale, and published in Architectural Design Magazine (AD) and Architectural Review among others. He enjoys beet borscht.
