Tanya's interests lie in both Finance and Accounting, where she has gained global experience, having worked in Canada and South Africa. Tanya has worked at major accounting firms, where her responsibilities included training, both internally and for clients. She has also worked at small and large asset management companies, managing balanced funds, as well as specialist equity funds. Within the field of Finance, Tanya has worked as an equity analyst and portfolio manager in South Africa. Her particular area of interest was in the field of socially responsible investing, and small-and-mid cap shares. Within the field of Accounting, Tanya has worked in both South Africa and Canada for big 4 accounting firms, as well as in the advertising industry. Her interest has been in the field of IFRS and in the analysis of complex accounting transactions. Tanya has taught both Accounting and Finance at prestigious universities in Canada, as well as at clients in commerce and industry.
