Biography
Lidan You is an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto with cross-appointments in the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering (MIE) and the Institute of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering (IBBME). She received her PhD degree in mechanical engineering from the City University of New York in 2002. Dr. You continued her postdoc training at Stanford University before she joined the University of Toronto as a faculty member in 2006. Research Interest
Muscular skeletal biomechanics; bone cell mechanobiology; bone tissue engineering; bone modelling and remodelling; advanced microfluidics system for bone cell mechanotransduction study; osteoporosis prevention and treatment; and bone regeneration.
