Biography
Dr. Pope completed a five-year residency in General Surgery followed by a two-year fellowship in Vascular Surgery at The University of Toronto, obtaining his General Surgery Certificate and a Certificate of Special Competence in Vascular Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is a graduate of the Surgical Scientist Program and has a Master of Science Degree from the University of Toronto. He trained in endovascular surgery at the University of Pittsburgh and in Lille, France. He joined Trillium Health Partners in 2000 and is the current Chief of the Vascular Surgery division. He is certified as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation and he is the Medical Director of the accredited Vascular Laboratory at Trillium Health Centre. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the Canadian Society for Vascular Surgery and The Society for Vascular Surgery.
