Biography
Margaret Jane Radin is a Professor of Law at the University of Toronto. She the author of Boilerplate: The Fine Print, Vanishing Rights, and the Rule of Law (Princeton University Press, 2013). This book, winner of the Scribes Book Award for 2014, explores the problems posed by standardized fine-print contracts and how those problems might be ameliorated. Radin also has written two books exploring the problems of propertization: Contested Commodities (Harvard University Press, 1996) and Reinterpreting Property (University of Chicago Press, 1993), as well as co-authored a casebook on Internet Commerce.
