Biography
Dr. Abdurrahman trained in psychiatry at McMaster University where she also completed some training in public health with a focus on public health aspects of mental illness. She joined the Department of Psychiatry at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on completing her residency training in psychiatry. Research Interest
Dr. Abdurrahman’s scholarly interests include public psychiatry particularly social determinants of mental illness, medical psychiatry, and refugee and immigrant health issues.
