Biography
Dr. Marianne Hatzopoulou is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Civil & Mineral Engineering, University of Toronto , Canada. His research interests includes bridges between transportation and environmental analysis; and my main expertise is in modelling of road transport emissions and urban air quality as well as evaluating population exposure to air pollution. I am interested in capturing the interactions between the daily activities and travel patterns of urban dwellers and the generation and dispersion of traffic emissions in urban environments. I lead an active research group focusing on modelling traffic emissions and near-road air quality as well as near-road air pollution monitoring and characterization.. He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Marianne Hatzopoulou is the member of many international affiliations. He/ She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He /she has authored of many research articles/books related to bridges between transportation and environmental analysis; and my main expertise is in modelling of road transport emissions and urban air quality as well as evaluating population exposure to air pollution.
