Biography
Matthew Brower is Assistant Professor of Museum Studies in the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto.Matthew Brower is Assistant Professor of Museum Studies in the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto.
Research Interest
Professor Brower’s research examines contemporary and historical visual culture with a particular emphasis on issues of display, taking the form of both written publications and exhibitions. Currently he is co-investigator on a SSHRC funded project titled “Digital Animalities.†The project examines the intersections between the rise of risk culture, digital technologies, and animal bodies.
