Biography
Matthew Cumming, BA (Yale University, 1998), JD (University of Toronto, Bronze Medallist, 2002), LLM (Cambridge University, First Class Honours, 2002), called to the Bar of Ontario 2003, called to the Bar of New York 2005. Mr. Cumming clerked at the Supreme Court of Canada in 2002-2003. After practising securities law at Shearman & Sterling LLP, he joined McCarthy Tetrault LLP, where he is a partner in the M&A group. Mr. Cumming is the co-author of Shareholder Remedies in Canada (LexisNexis Canada, 2009).
