Dr. Matthew  J. Roorda is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Civil & Mineral Engineering, University of Toronto , Canada. His research interests includes  urban freight and passenger travel research initiatives. The research provides challenging and impactful opportunities for graduate students.  There is a strong and on-going need for our research to assess the impacts of many policy decisions being made by our government representatives, and by industry every day.  Our research influences those decisions, resulting in a more sustainable, efficient and equitable urban transportation system.. He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Matthew  J. Roorda is the member of many international affiliations. He/ She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He /she has authored of many research articles/books related to  urban freight and passenger travel research initiatives.
