Biography
Michael Cobb holds and MA in Religion and Literature from the University of Chicago and an MA and a PhD in English from Cornell University. He teaches courses in lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and queer literature, queer theory, American literature, and critical race theory as an Assistant Professor of English at the University of Toronto. Michael’s work can be found in journals such as Boundary 2, Social Text, GLQ, Criticism, Callaloo, University of Toronto Quarterly, and South Atlantic Quarterly. He is a member of the SDS Steering committee & teaches literature within the undergraduate program’s core curriculum.
