Office OU works on projects ranging from single family dwellings, to large regional master plans, and was recently chosen to design the new National Museum Complex of Korea. Nicolas is also one of the co-founders of Projexity a platform that enables organizations to engage their audience in community improvement projects. Since its launch in 2013, Projexity has teamed up with both local community groups and larger organizations like the City of Toronto, TRCA, Evergreen Cityworks, and the David Suzuki Foundation in order to broadcast and facilitate the development of better urban spaces. Prior to co-founding Office OU and Projexity, Nicolas worked in some of the world's most innovative design firms, including MAD in Beijing, Ateliers Jean Nouvel in Paris, and Field Operations in New York on the winning entry for the Qianhai Water City competition. Nicolas has previously also been active in research at the University of Pennsylvania, working with Mark Alan Hughes on the creation of a cross-disciplinary course on environmental sustainability, and at the Penn-Tsinghua TC Chan Center on the UPenn Sustainability Plan.
