Research Interest
Through dual roles as Associate Professor of periodontics and Senior Surgeon with the Implant Prosthodontic Unit at the University of Toronto, Dr. Peter Birek trains many future periodontists and prosthodontists. A pioneer in periodontics research, Dr. Birek helped develop the Toronto Automated Periodontal Probe.
