Research Interest
I am interested in democratic approaches to policy and education, as well as diversity and social justice policies in education. I use the lens of education for peace as defined by Gandhian principles to work in areas of policy and diversity in Canada and elsewhere. My general interests include education for peace, diversity, citizenship, policy, as well as photography and calligraphy. Current projects include: Peace and Human Rights Learning Exchange (with several community based groups and scholars from India and Canada); Transnationalizing Spaces and Their Implications for Citizenship Education Policy in Canada, Australia and India (with Fazal Rizvi, university of Melbourne and Leigh-Anne Ingram, OISE)
