Research Interest
Research concerns electophilic intermediates of common organic reactions, the carbocation intermediates of SN1 reactions and electrophilic aromatic substitutions and nitrenium ions of relevance to aryl amine carcinogenicity. I am no longer active in experimental research. I am currently interested in the analysis of reactivity in electophile-nucelophile combination reactions, for which there is now a large body of published data.
