Biography
C. Andre T. Salama received the B.A.Sc. (Hons.) (1961), the M.A.Sc. (1963) and the Ph.D. (1966) degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia. He was employed at Bell Northern Research, Ottawa in 1966-1967 and joined the ECE Department at the University of Toronto in 1967 as an Assistant Professor, becoming Associate Professor in 1970, Professor in 1977, J.M. Ham Chair in microelectronics 1987-1997, University Professor in 1992 and University Professor Emeritus in 2004. Dr. Salama research interests focus on semiconductor devices and integrated circuits.
