Biography
The dissertation argues that moving relics in central medieval France was a means of asserting power and constructing communal identities using story-telling and myth-making. Equally as important as the esoteric and micro-historical medieval interests are the macro-historical and interdisciplinary nature of Big History and World History. Teaching interests include Medieval Monasticism, Hagiography, and Social History; World History, Big History, and Environmental History; Women’s History, Women and Gender Studies, and History of Sexuality; and Writing Instruction.
