Biography

Eckhard has been practicing accounting since 1989. He gained invaluable business experience working for major accounting firms, both in Canada and South Africa. During this time Eckhard has been exposed to various business sectors and has been able to incorporate this experience in his teaching. Eckhard also specialized in investigative and forensic accounting and practiced in this area for a number of years. Eckhard has been practicing accounting since 1989. Research Interest

Since obtaining his CA designation, Eckhard has also been involved in the training and education programs of various accounting firms. He has taught at prestigious universities in Canada and internationally. His primary teaching interest is the training and education on future professional accountants through the use of simulations and other teaching techniques. Eckhard has conducted research in the market for audit services in South Africa and has presented his research results at various conferences.
