Biography
Shadi Ramos is an instructor at the University of Toronto and Ryerson University. She teaches visual communication and architectural graphics. Her undergraduate background is in Physics and Biology with two years of research experience at The Princess Margaret Hospital in the department of Medial Biophysics. In addition to her involvement in teaching, she also actively participates in independent design projects. She is particularly interested in challenging traditional concepts of design, ecology, and built form. Her interest in landscape functionality has often resulted in projects that foster a dialogue between technology, design, aesthetics, and natural elements.
