Biography
After a successful career in health care (Occupational Therapist, Professional Practice Leader), I decided to return to university to explore other interests. This has lead to a second career as a researcher and lecturer in adult education and community development. Research Interest
My research focus is on the impact of emerging technology on community development and social economy organizations. I coordinate the Community University Research Alliance on Social Business and Marginalized Social Groups and am the Knowledge Mobilization and Social Media Director for the Social Economy Centre. I am also an Internet research analyst for Metaviews, a Toronto based organization that provides research and consulting services on the relationship between media, technology, and society.
