Research Interest
Dr. Gong’s research explores various aspects of how the face grows, such as what genes are involved and how and why some facial birth defects (e.g., clefts of the lip and palate) occur. She is also interested in identifying ways to increase the rate of tooth movement during orthodontic treatment.
