Biography
I am an assistant professor in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Toronto. My primary interests relate to interactions between syntactic structure-building operations and operations that manipulate syntactic feature structures, most notably Agree, but also other phenomena like concord, Case licensing, fission and fusion. Not all of these are narrowly syntactic, and the question of 'where' feature structures are manipulated, in syntax vs. in the process of externalization, is one of the problems I work on.
