Biography
Timothy J. Murphy, B.A. (Hons) (Queen’s University, 1982), LL.B. (University of Toronto, 1987), LL.M. (Osgoode Hall, 2007). He is Co-Chair of McMillan LLP’s Project Finance and Infrastructure Groups and specializes in public private partnerships. He was Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of Canada from 2003 to 2006 and was previously a Member of Provincial Parliament in Ontario. He has been an advisor to governments at all levels and has acted for consortia and lenders on a wide variety of transactions involving private participation in the provision of public services.
