Biography
Wendy Duff is a professor and Dean in the Faculty of Information where she teaches courses in the areas of archival access and community archives. Her research and publications focus on archival access, archival users, and evaluation of archives. Research Interest
As Principal Investigator, Professor Duff received a 2014 SSHRC Insight Development to investigate the impact of archives on social justice. With Elizabeth Yakel, and Helen Tibbo she received grants from both the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the National Historical Publications & Records Commission to support the work on the Archival Metrics Project, which sought to promote a culture of assessment in the archival domain by creating standardized user-based evaluation tools and other performance measures.
