Biography
Martin Segger was the Director of the Maltwood Art Museum and Gallery at the University of Victoria, Victoria, British Columbia, from 1979 until his retirement in December 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature, a Diploma of Education from the University of Victoria, and a Master of Philosophy in Renaissance Cultural Studies from the Warburg Institute at the University of London. In 1982 he was elected a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.Since 1979 he has been Director of the Maltwood Art Museum & Gallery, University of Victoria. In 1999 he was also appointed Director of Government & Community Relations, University of Victoria.
