Biography
Wendell Clanton is an active classical and commercial performer in the Pacific Northwest. He received his graduate degree under the tutelage of the distinguished performer and teacher Dr. Frederick L. Hemke. His other teachers include Dr. Lynne Greenwood (student of Eugene Rousseau) and Mr. Roy Reynolds, lead tenor saxophonist with the Stan Kenton Band. Several notable works have been written for Mr. Clanton, including Sonatina for Alto Saxophone and Piano by Dr. Norman Weston.
