Biography
Dr. Andrea N. Edginton, received her PhD in University of Guelph. Currently She is working as a Associater Professor in University of waterloo. She completed her administrative duties as Programmatic Assessment Officer and Associate Professor in Department of Pharmacy. She awarded as 2016 Outstanding Performance Award, University of Waterloo - The award recognizes the top 10 per cent of UW faculty, 2015 Excellence in Science Teaching Award, one of two Science Faculty members. She is the Member of the Editorial Board, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Journal (2009 – Present).
Research Interest
Building virtual organisms to study the pharmacokinetics of drugs and environmental contaminants. Using pharmacokinetic (PBPK) models to provide a mechanistic means of understanding how changes in physiology can affect the absorption, metabolism and excretion of a chemical.
