Dr. Bovas Abraham is a Professor in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science, University of Waterloo, University Avenue West, Waterloo, ON, Canada.
Research Interest
Dr. Bovas Abraham Research interests are in time series analysis and statistical methods for quality improvement. In the time series area, the focus is on building models to business economic and financial data, stochastic volatility, analysis of outliers and missing observations. Dealing with long memory time series is also of interest. In the quality improvement category topics such as dimension reduction methods, multivariate prediction and process control with latent variables, designed experiments, on line control etc. are pursued. Statistical education and implementation of statistical methods in industry are also major interests.
