Biography
Prof/Dr Duane Kennedy . Currently, he/she is working as Associate Professor Cornell University. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Robert Harding Teaching Fellow. His/her research has included “Corporate Governance Scores, Tobin’s Q and Firm Performance: Evidence from Canadian Capital Markets.†Corporate Ownership and Control, volume 6(3), Spring 2009. Based on this research and fellowship training he/she has received several awards and honors, such as Robert Harding Teaching Fellow. He/she is a member of Elected "Fellow" of the Society of Management Accountants of Canada, 2003.
Research Interest
Earnings management and the impact of the US sub-prime crisis on Canadian financial institutions. I also have worked on a number of projects related to bankruptcy prediction and Initial Public Offerings (IPOs).
