Biography
Prof/Dr Marek Stastna, has recieved his PhD in University of Waterloo. Currently, he is working as a Professor in University of Waterloo. He completed his Administrative duties as a Professor APPLIED MATHEMATICS in University of Waterloo. Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. Previously, I was a Bing Instructor at The University of Texas at Austin from 2015-2017. I earned my Ph.D. in 2015 from the University of California, Los Angeles under the supervision of Professor Stanley Osher. My research interests are sparse modeling, sparse optimization methods, data science, image processing and medical imaging, and compressed sensing.
