Houra Mahmoudzadeh

Biography

She is an an assistant professor in the department of Management Sciences at the University of Waterloo. My research is in the area of applied operations research. I work on a number of different applications including optimization of processes in healthcare and energy sectors. I am also the coordinator of the Seminar Series at the Management Sciences Department. She joined the department of Management Sciences at University of Waterloo in 2015. I received my PhD from University of Toronto in the field of Industrial Engineering, specializing in Operations Research. Before starting my PhD, I worked as the head of the Industrial Engineering department at a manufacturing company as well as a Lecturer in Industrial Engineering.
