Biography
John Wright is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo. He is also involved in the day-to-day management of the Advanced Glazing System Laboratory (AGSL) and the Solar Thermal Research Laboratory (STRL). Professor Wright’s research interests include most aspects of fenestration technology, the measurement of heat transfer in glazing systems, solar characterization of materials, a new theory related to windows and shading devices, the development of simplified models, condensation resistance, and a software created in support of the “Green Building†design.
