Biography
Dr. Nasser Lashgarian Azad is working as a professor in the Department of Systems Design Engineering, University of Waterloo, University Avenue West, Waterloo, ON, Canada.
Research Interest
Dr. Azad’s research has been dedicated to solving sophisticated practical problems, especially in automotive engineering, through applying advanced theories and concepts. His primary research interests lie in modeling, simulation, design and control of dynamic mechanical and complex multi-domain physical systems, with special emphasis on advanced modeling and model reduction methods, sensitivity analysis techniques, nonlinear and optimal control, with applications to advanced vehicle systems, such as modern automotive powertrain, hybrid vehicle propulsion and vehicle dynamics control systems.
