Biography
Peter Carr is a Lecturer in the Department of Managements Sciences, and the Program Director and author of the course materials for the Technology Entrepreneurship Certificate, Social Media for Business Performance Certificate, and Project Leadership Certificate at the University of Waterloo. He has taught Project Management and Operations Management courses internationally, and has been featured in case studies by Microsoft and Research in Motion. Additionally, Dr. Carr was the Technical Editor of the book “PMP Professional Study Guide, 3rd edition” by Joseph Phillips (McGraw Hill, 2009). Dr. Carr works with NetHope and the Red Cross on the use of information technology in third world development, having led over 20 research projects in this field. He currently has his own consulting company that specializes in online learning, project management, lean operations, and the application of information technology in third world development.
