Biography
Dr. Philippe Van Cappellen, received his PhD from theGeochemistry, Yale University, USA. He is workinga s a Professor in University of waterloo. He completed his Administrative service as Research Chair in Ecohydrology. He is awarded as Werner Stumm Medal, European Association of Geochemistry (EAG)(2015), 2015 Geochemical Fellow, Geochemical Society & EAG, 2012 Adrian Smith Lecturer, University of Waterloo. He is the Member of 2014-now UNESCO International Hydrological Programme – Ecohydrology: Steering Committee, 2014-now EU Marie Curie Innovative Training Network C-CASCADES: Steering Committee.

Mineral-water-microbe interactions, Groundwater-surface water interactions, Modeling reactive transport and geomicrobial reaction systems, Biogeochemistry of soils, river-floodplain systems, wetlands, lakes, coastal environments and marine basins
