Dr. Nathalie Berube received his Ph.D. University of Ottawa, he is a Associate Professor (Biochemistry and Paediatrics), Scientist, Children's Health Research Institute at university of Western Ontario, Canada.
Research Interest
We examine disorders of chromatin structure using mouse and cell models that lack specific chromatin remodelling proteins. Representative examples include ATR-X syndrome (ATRX protein) and Rett syndrome (MeCP2 protein). Our studies will provide insight into the molecular, cellular, and behavioural defects effected by these syndromes and hold promise for therapeutics to alleviate symptoms of these defects.
