Research Interest
Radiation climatology, climate models and climate change. Ultraviolet biologically active (UV-B) irradiance, radiative transfer models and cloud optical properties. Modelling lakes in terms of surface budget components, water levels, mixing layer depths and surface temperature predictions. Surface-atmosphere interactions and boundary layer processes. Modelling solar and UV-B radiation penetration into lakes and oceans and their impact on aquatic ecology.
