Biography
Dr. Jason Hannan is Associate Professor in the Department of Rhetoric, Writing, and Communications at the University of Winnipeg. Prior to joining UWinnipeg, he was a SSHRC postdoctoral fellow in the Program in Rhetoric and Public Culture at Northwestern University. He was also a Visiting Scholar at Northwestern’s Roberta Buffett Centre for International and Comparative Studies. He taught at Northwestern before joining UWinnipeg in 2013. Dr. Hannan sits on the Farm Animal Compassion Committee of the Winnipeg Humane Society and is the Co-Chair of Winnipeg VegFest.
