Yvonne Kingsley

Biography

Yvonne is passionate about living and sharing the path of yoga. She invites students to tune in to their internal experience, using movement and breath to cultivate an open body and calm mind. Her classes are grounded and intentional, incorporating rhythmic flow, attention to alignment, and intelligent sequencing that weaves together strength, flexibility, and balance. She encourages students to bring greater awareness, curiosity, and compassion into their practice. Inspired by the power of yoga to transform her life at the deepest levels, Yvonne left a demanding advertising career, dedicating herself to helping others find a clear and centered place within themselves. Yvonne believes in the awesome potential that resides in every person and that through the practice of yoga, we can tap into our inner strength to live a more conscious, vibrant, and purposeful life. After her initial 200-Hour training at Yoga Tree San Francisco, Yvonne went on to complete a 500-Hour training with renowned Kundalini/Vinyasa teacher Kia Miller, diving deep into the subtler aspects of pranayama, kriya, mantra, and meditation. Yvonne continues to evolve her practice and teaching, studying extensively with her teacher Jason Crandell.
