Biography
Dr. Liu received his BSc and MSc degrees at Nankai University in China and PhD at Justus Liebig University in Germany. He joined VIDO-InterVac as a Research Scientist and principal investigator in 2003. Dr. Liu is an adjunct professor at the University of Saskatchewan’s Department of Veterinary Microbiology and School of Public Health, and an associate member of the Biomedical Engineering Division, College of Engineering. He is a member of the Canadian Network on Hepatitis C (CanHepC), a national research network jointly funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Public Health Agency of Canada. His expertise includes virology and vaccinology.
