Biography
Dr. Zhou completed her Doctoral degree in molecular biology of Influenza virus in Justus Liebig University, Giessen, Germany. She joined VIDO-InterVac as a Research Scientist in 2003, and is currently leading an Influenza research project. Dr. Zhou received a national prestigious salary award- Canadian Institutes of Health Research New Investigator award (2007-2012). Her research expertise includes molecular biology of influenza virus, virus induced signal transduction, viral pathogenesis and vaccine development.
