Biography
Responsible for providing administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer, Chairperson and Board Members to assist them in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. Prepares letters on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer. Responsible for the scheduling and maintaining of a calendar of events/meetings/travel for the Chief Executive Officer. Responsible for the coordination and maintenance of a filing system for the District office. Responsible for the preparation of the Board Meeting agenda, and processing and/or accumulation of the required meeting material at the proper time for distribution. Coordinates the meetings of standing committees of the Board, prepares agendas and material necessary to conduct the business of the committee and distributes it along with a notice of meeting to the committee members. Attends meetings of Committees as requested, and records, summarizes the minutes of these meetings. Maintains a permanent record of all Board and Board Committee minutes and Board packages. Ensures the effective and efficient functioning of the District Office through contribution to budget development and the efficient processing, record keeping and coordination of the district office budget and supplies. Responsible for the management of two office staff members through assignment of work, employee development and performance appraisals.
