Biography
Julia MacGregor graduated from Mount Royal University in the fall of 2010 with a Bachelor of Communications (Applied) – Public Relations. During her degree, Julia honed her communication skills while working for Arts Commons (formally EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts) then Alberta Innovates – Technology Futures. After graduation, Julia ventured into primary health care as the Communication and Events Coordinator for the Calgary West Central Primary Care Network where she worked with a physician membership of 300. Julia was previously in a Communications Coordinator role with W21C since 2012, where she focused on internal communication, external outreach, event planning, and web and social media management. Now as a Communications Advisor, Julia continues to provide support in her previous role’s tasks with the addition of Knowledge Translation, strategic communications planning, digital media development and staff recognition.
