Steve Davies

Biography

n 2001, after nearly 15 years working for others, Steve acted on his entrepreneurial instincts to found Third Wave. His initial focus for the company was project management consulting, but Steve saw a new opportunity in cloud-based customer relationship management. By 2003, he had led Third Wave to being the first partner in Canada to implement Salesforce-based solutions. Steve is a registered professional engineer with an Industrial Engineering degree from Dalhousie University. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from Saint Mary’s University. Steve began his career as an industrial engineer with Syncrude Canada in Fort McMurray, Alberta. He moved on to Tecsult Eduplus to manage a team of eLearning developers and eventually held management positions at various prestigious consulting firms including KPMG. Steve’s upbringing by the Atlantic Ocean near Halifax fuelled his lifelong interest in sailing. He’s not only an experienced yachtsman, but a car enthusiast. He divides his leisure time between the water, racing his 40-foot sailboat, and the track, challenging himself in his sports car.
