Expertise John was formerly a Managing Director for First Reserve, a large global energy focused private equity firm and an Executive Vice President of BP plc. He was Chairman of Amromco Energy LLC and White Rose Energy Ventures LLP, and a Non-Executive Director of Deep Gulf Energy LP. He is a fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and a visiting Professor at the University of Strathclyde.
